Timebank Introduction: Overview and uncovering offers and requests

December 5 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Tonight is our getting started with our timebank introduction. We begin with a short timebanking overview, followed by uncovering your skills you might like to offer or requests as well as the skills currently in the timebank.  Remember we all have skills to offer and we think differently about skills as its the little things we do for each other which can really make a difference to our lives.
As always the second half we share dinner of vegan lentils and salad.
This event suits both newcomers and regulars.  You receive a time-credits for completing the session. Regulars can earn time-credits by helping on the night.

What is timebanking?

Timebanking is a way to connect to your community while sharing and exchanging skills, goods and resources using time instead of money as the currency. All time is equally valued and this idea builds community and supports people in creative and interesting ways.
